Oh so tempting to keep! Just an awesome car, near perfect. She was found pretty much intact, we upgraded her with new chrome and white walls.
Sold ’67 with new floors repaired and a brand new 1600cc engine installed. The last guy who had this bug had a horrible 1500cc in it.
Another incredible bug I found in NJ. Extremely clean metal sunroof car.
My second purchase off of eBay site unseen. Car needed a complete makeover with a new interior, chrome, seals, the works.
The cali 1957 bug I bought and thought I was gonna keep, (you will hear this out of me a lot). I restored midnight in the summer of 2007, took him to many shows and won several awards.
This is Hank the 1971 standard beetle. The first VW I bought site unseen off of eBay. Sure enough the first claim I had to submit on something I bought.
You don’t wanna know!! I drove this car 2 hours home after buying it and completely spun out on a major highway.
A near perfect condition VW that I found on craigslist, he was actually only 10 min. away from me too. All this car needed was some chrome, a set of whitewalls, and a shine.
Meet Spanky, a 1971 Super Beetle Convertible. This was my first bug that I bought back in summer 1999 when I was still in college. I knew very little about the beetle back then, so I really did not know where to look for the rust issues and common problems. Long story short, I became a sucker on this one.
My First Sale and major resto was a 1968 Beetle named Hermin. A ground up restoration that needed all new floors and heater channels. A complete makeover with new interior, chrome moldings, seals, and the works. This car I learned on with the help of Rick Higgins and those great “Bug Me Videos.”
