Lucky Larry’s 1955 Oval Window 3 Fold Ragtop Sunroof SOLD!

My good friend Lucky Larry has decided to put his 1955 three fold ragtop beetle has now SOLD. We restored this bug back in 2015, I remember documenting the trip out to Rhode Island to find this gem. We did a complete body off “Build-A-BuG” style restoration on this black beauty. This one will be sad to see go.

But times move on, we look forward to seeing this bug go to a good home. There is a full coffee table bound resto book that goes with it like all of my restos, along with our badge mounted on the rear grill.

This bug is matching numbers from body, chassis, engine, it has been to many parts of the world, if you watch the resto series I filmed below, take a peek at the original quarter window glass, they are littered with stickers of all the locations this Classic VW Beetle has been.
