20 Years Restoring Classic VW BuGs Timeline – Vintage Beetle Restoration in NY

Hey Volks! Yes, holy cow it is just about 20 years since I (Chris Vallone) started restoring the Classic VW BuG in my backyard as a hobby, my first resto was in 2003. We then shortly afterwards made it into a full fledged business after much success selling on eBay. Folks slowly came through wanting a full on body off restoration from us. Then, it was time to open the shop.

My grandfather, Frank Vallone was a huge inspiration on me, he was very artistic and handy, so we always tooled around with small stuff like Lionel trains, RC Planes, and RC Cars. I learned to build, use tools, get skilled with electronics, troubleshoot, and paint with my Pop and Grandfather.

This video has 20 years of footage in it, and no I could not fit everything in it that I wanted. But I might just make another one of these films with longer music, we shall see.
