One of our “Build-A-BuG” projects completed last year goes up for sale. Guys this was a complete body off restoration performed by my shop of this 1957 Oval Ragtop in gold metallic. She sports a rebuilt 1600sp engine. Odometer shows just over 120 miles since resto.

Story:

Bernie contacted me in early 2016 looking for an early beetle ragtop sunroof. We found this next “Build-A-BuG” 1957 Oval Ragtop out of NM. This is a nice dry car, with no structural rot. What is nice is that the car came all gutted to us, basically ready to roll into the paint shop. Bernie is looking for the Classic Bordeaux Red that we have done before with the beige tweed combo. The bug will sport a 1600 motor or later with a 12v system.
