Here we go Folks! We are selling this beautiful 1960 Beetle Convertible on consignment for a good friend of ours. This bug was picked up out of Washington State, it lived out west its whole life. She was restored back in the 90s and has held up very well.
Paprika Red is a one year only color for VW, she shines nicely with that orange/red mix. The bug has been restored back to what the offerings would have been in this year with the light grey seats and door cards. Mileage is unknown on the rebuilt motor, but by the looks of it there are not many as the car really has not seen much road rash, I would guess under 10k miles since restoration.
The exterior was repainted on the bug, but what you see on the dash is the original paint. Seats are comfy! She drives beautifully, straight as an arrow, and the lil 36hp motor has strength to it, she wants to keep going. =o) This is a #’s matching bug!
There is also a lot of documentation that goes along with this bug, many many receipts to show past work.
Condition of the bug is great, there are some imperfections in the paint we try to point out in the pics, but seeing it in person would be ideal. This is not a concours bug by any means, but it is a great driver/show/cruise night car. Floors have been patched in the past by the previous owner.
You know convertibles of this era (67 and earlier) is the way to go on an investment standpoint, they always go up!
