Classic VW BuGs 1967 Euro Beetle Sedan SOLD!

This awesome “Rare” 1967 VW just recently came into our shop.  I actually found this car in Hawaii and had it shipped here.  Reason I wanted this car was because it is a “Euro” 1967 Beetle.  US ’67 beetles can be found here in the states pretty easily, but a Euro is probably as rare as getting an Oval Window Bug here in this part of the world.

Euro ’67s still kept the early style front headlights.

You had a choice to get either the 1300 model or a 1500 model.  In Europe, most people bought the 1300 model to save on tax purposes, this car was originally a 1500 model.

’67 Euros also had 4 lug rims, not 5 lug. USA Beetles would not of had 4 lug until ’68.

The front end also sported front “Disc Brakes” on the Euro ’67 like the Ghia.

They also had the ignition switch on the locking steering column.

Originally the Euro ’67 would have still stayed 6 volt as well.  This car was converted to 12v.
This car came to us with an off white grey interior.  I needed to change this, so we installed our “Signature Series” Classic VW BuGs Vallone Kit.

Currently the car has a 1300 upgraded to a 1600.  I am on the hunt for the correct 1500cc motor that should be installed in this car.

This car is near flawless in appearance, a beautiful show car that really shines and one that is rare in the USA.
