Well I had to do it! I have to put my “Pride & Joy” 1955 Ragtop Beetle up for sale.

1955 Ragtop for sale!

Yeah I have to put my lil baby up for sale, it is time to move on, I have a ’53 ragtop beetle in the works that I will hopefully have done by the summer. You can see the progression on that project HERE. I have had some great times with the car, but it is just time to move forward and build even better bugs.

Dubs & Coffee April 15th 2012 from 10-1pm.

One week from Sunday we will be having our 1st Gathering of the year. Please bring your Air-Cooled ride, Free to all, no trophies or awards, just good ole Air-Cooled Mingle, chat, hang FUN. Any Air-Cooled VW of any shape or size is welcome, ghia, bug, bus, etc.

We will be meeting at my shop Classic VW Bugs 22 Burts Rd. Congers NY 10920 at 9-9:30am and will be traveling 2 miles (convoy) to the Harbors at Haverstraw Complex on the Hudson by 10am. The Harbors Cafe will be open to all, breakfast, brunch, coffee, latte, tea, bagels, muffins, etc. This is our “Spring Kick Off” gathering here in the North East for all the VduB Air-Cooled Nuts!

If you can’t make the 9:30am slot at my shop, the address to the Harbors at Haverstraw is 1000 Round Pointe Dr. in Haverstraw NY 10927, we will be parking right next to the NY Waterway Parking lot. Alternatively you can use the address to the lot which is 30-34 Girling Dr. Haverstraw, NY 10927.

Please be at the shop by 9:30am the latest if you can since we will be making a Tour D’ VduB entrance with our air-cooled gems and heading down that new ramp. If you live in and around the NY Tri-State area, please come by, and dust off that DuB of yours!

MOOVING to a NEW SHOP!

I think I told ya about this a few weeks back, well this week we have been on the move, and is it HECTIC, even though it is right in the same complex, haha. I just gotta walk like 100 feet. I can’t believe how much you accumulate over just a couple of years in parts and junk. I have been tossing a lot into the garbage, stuff I totally forgot about. Crazy! I have so many back issues of HotVWs, VW Trends, Ultra VWs, and VolksWorld if anyone wants them, LMK.

Here are some pics of the new shop! We have painted walls this time and a polished floor, with a full bathroom. Same size as my last shop.
