Well I am here to tell ya that we are gearing up for the Spring Time Show Season!
This is what I have in store for you this week;

TWO NEW VIDEO TIPS
Yeah that’s right, amongst my business in the shop I have been busy filming some tidbit tips when I get the chance.
First on I have is “How To” install your Pop-Out Window Seals for your Vintage Bug
And the second one I have is how to repair your 65 and earlier smoothie 5 lug rim clips. These are the clips that hold onto your hubcaps.
Yes we are kicking off our gatherings this year on Sunday April 15th
That’s right guys the 1st gathering of the year “DuBs & Coffee” April 15th 2012 from 10-1pm, we will be meeting at my shop Classic VW Bugs 22 Burts Rd. Congers NY 10920 at 9-9:30am and will be traveling 2 miles (convoy) to the Harbors at Haverstraw Complex on the Hudson by 10am. The Harbors Cafe will be open to all, breakfast, brunch, coffee, latte, tea, bagels, muffins, etc. This is our “Spring Kick Off gathering here in the North East for all the VduB Air-Cooled Nuts!
If you can’t make the 9:30am slot at my shop, the address to the Harbors at Haverstraw is 1000 Round Pointe Dr. in Haverstraw NY 10927, we will be parking right next to the NY Waterway Parking lot. Alternatively you can use the address to the lot which is 30-34 Girling Dr. Haverstraw, NY 10927.
*Directions Update* If anyone who can’t make the time slot at my shop and wants to head directly to the Harbors at Haverstraw and will be coming north hitting 9W to “Short Clove Rd.” bear in mind the GPS and mapquest may not be updated. They just closed off the original entrance and have now made a safer wide open ramp to get to the Harbors at Haverstraw, the new ramp is just a 1/3 of a mile up from the original road and is still called “Short Clove Rd.” You can’t miss it, it is a cool ramp actually.
Please be at the shop by 9:30am the latest if you can since we will be making a Tour D’ VduB entrance with our air-cooled gems and heading down that new ramp.

50 Mile Spring VW Air-Cooled Cruise!
We are putting on a “Spring VW Air-Cooled Convoy Cruise” into the Hudson Valley Sat. May 5th 2012. It is about a 50 Mile Cruise with stops along the way for sight seeing and food. Please be at my shop no later than 9am, we depart shortly after that. 22 Burts Rd. Congers NY 10920 is our starting point.
As you know we had a successful “Fall Foliage” Cruise back in October of 2011. Video Below.
So we will be doing it twice in 2012, Spring & Fall.
Spring “VW Cruise”
I have the tour mapped out with a few stops for sight seeing, lunch, and an all around GOOD TIME touring the Hudson Valley. If you plan on attending, please be sure to have;
1. A FULL TANK OF GAS
2. SNACKS, DRINKS
3. Optional (YOUR CAMERA) the views will be awesome
4. and of course your Air-Cooled VW of any shape or size.
Please be at my shop by 9am, 22 Burts Rd. Congers NY 10920. This is a SHINE ONLY EVENT, should last till about 3pm when we end at the “Harbors at Haverstraw.”
There will be plenty of stops for people to use the Restrooms. We will be stopping for lunch on the way back down toward Haverstraw. This should be a BLAST. If you have any questions about the tour, please call me 845.290.9900.
